WHAT TO EXPECT
I run a full-service, professional dog training program designed to create harmony in your home for the rest of your dog’s natural life. The training program runs between 8 hours, depending on your dog’s needs, receptivity, and abilities. This can be spread out over the course of days, weeks, etc. to meet your individual needs. Training will happen at or near your home. I work primarily in the West Metro. If you fall outside of that area, you can travel to me in Delano, or we can work together to find a more central meeting place.

I like to start with an initial assessment. This assessment will determine your dog’s needs, receptivity and abilities and we will customize a program that works best for you and your dog. I use four primary words to keep it simple. These include, sit, here/heel, come and okay. I use only the latest electronic technology to ensure lifelong success. All e-collars are veterinarian approved. This accelerates the training program and helps your dog to learn extremely quickly for a lasting desired result. Part of the training program is helping guide you to work the program on your own long after the 10 hours are over. The most successful outcomes always happen with teamwork from the dog, the owner, and the trainer.

I feel it is less than a great idea to return a dog to you that still needs work in some areas, since you will eventually need to get those problems resolved. I intend to return to you a finished dog!

Fees:
The fee is $1600 for the program, due at the beginning of the sessions. If you figure that you’ll have a great life with your dog for the next ten to fifteen years, that’s only $100 a year for peace and harmony! Plus, you’ll be a champ at working on your next dogs, or your family members’ pooches!
I will train your dog at your home and surrounding neighborhood.
Some days will be short due to your dogs’ receptivity, abilities and attitude and some days will be much longer.
We can discuss best options for successful training places when we meet the first time.
I use e-collars sparingly and effectively. This is the sure-fire path to a successful outcome. I will demonstrate these tools to you on our first meeting, so that you’re comfortable and knowledgable on their implementation.
Dog owners can be as involved in the training process as they’d like. I can work with you on tips to try at home in between sessions. Training dogs begins and ends with educating owners. Each of my programs is aimed at helping you learn how to work with your dog long after I am gone. If a new problem ever arrises, I am just a call away to continue working with your canine family.
